We just recently had our all-nighter here over New Year's. It was a great success. Some of the tournaments that we had were Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War, Lord of the Rings, Call of Duty, Command and Conquer Generals and more. Some of the matches for Lord of the Rings were over two hours long. We never thought that they would ever end. The pictures from the all-nighter will be posted within the next week or so.

Also just a reminder that the Command and Conquer Generals League will begin on Tuesday January 11th. The first two weeks will be practices.

Remember to try out Star Wars Battlefront (great game). I think being a sniper is best. Very accurate weapon. Also try out Full Spectrum Warrior where you can command your team.

We got Tribes Vengeance and Doom 3 in today. They should be installed by early next week or so. Stay tuned.

Great job Heaters and 101FS on your matches yesterday. Stalingrad and railyard are the last two maps and then the playoffs start.

Hopefully I won't kill any of my teammates next week if I play. That is the reason why I am a backup.

Well today I did a radio spot for WKUZ (local country station) and the guys at the office said I exagerated our services too much...
So they got me a cake.

I think I won the annual exageration award - they are so kind to me, but hey I did get cake.

In other news we DID finally get Battlefront in - check this out at the center starting tomorrow!

We should be getting Star Wars: Battlefront very soon. It has been delayed because of all of the hurricanes in Florida. I believe that this will be the game of the year. We played this game at our iGames conference in New York in September. It was basically the only game that we played the whole time that we were there. Very addicting game. The graphics are unbelievable, the game is so much like the movies.

Reminder to gamers that you can review this game and get a free credit once we receive the game.

Hey everyone! This is my first blog :) Well, the new Call of Duty has come in and it's way better than the original, even though that one is extremely popular. Definitely my favorite part of the new game is that you can ride around in tanks! Even though Battlefield 1942 already has this feature, it's way better in Call of Duty because you can still go free-for-all mode. Come check out this game if you haven't already- it's cool (even though I'm horrible at it) :)
Don't forget too, we're having another all-nighter the weekend of Halloween. It's gonna be awesome! We've got tons of prizes to give away again, and as always, pizza will be provided! Sign up now!

Well I beat the single player missions on Call of Duty United Offensive yesterday morning. It was pretty cool. You get a little cutscene summary of the game, and then as they roll the credits, your guy runs through most of the levels of the game as a sort of 3rd-person sidescroller.

I'm working on getting a second character up to the same level as my first on our secondary City of Heroes account. That way I will be able to play with Mark or whoever if one of our accounts is already in use. Blaster is still my favorite class, but I think the energy blaster may be my favorite origin. My secondary character uses ice which slows movement and attacks, but the most of my energy blaster's common attacks have a fair chance of knocking the enemy back/down.

I always have the hardest time deciding which additional super-powers I want. Running fast is very handy, but so is floating, combat jumping, etc. The ultimate one has got to be fly, but I don't have any characters high enough to obtain it yet, of course. I miss my college days when I had morning classes followed by 12-14 glorious hours of non-stop gaming.

Battlefield 1942 - probably the most prolific game to come into the PC arena in a long time. At our game center BF1942 and the mods Secret Weapons and Desert Combat are #'s 1,2 and 3 in playing time.

Maybe this will change, but for right now BF is king.
